Pakistan cricket star Shoaib Malik married actor Sana Javed even as speculation about his separation from Indian tennis star Sania Mirza is rife. Both Shoaib and Sana shared photos from their wedding on Saturday, January 20.

Shoaib Malik and Sana Javed were rumoured to be dating and the Pakistan cricketer added fuel to fire when he wished the Pakistan actor on her birthday last year. “Happy Birthday Buddy,” Shoiab Malik had written, sharing a photo of them together on his Instagram page.
Notably, Shoaib Malik had divorced Ayesha Siddiqui in 2010 before marrying tennis star Sania Mirza later that year. Sana Javed was married
The cricketer who was previously married to Indian tennis star, Sania, with whom he has a son, released a photograph on a social media platform with his new wife, with the words “And We created you in pairs”. Their five-year-old son Izaan lives with Sania.
Sania’s father Imran Mirza told PTI that “it was a ‘khula'”, which refers to the right of a Muslim woman to unilaterally divorce her husband.
He also informed that it was Sania who had divorced the Pakistani batter by using a process called ‘Khula.’ Khula is a practice in Islamic Sharia law that lets a woman divorce her husband unilaterally and part ways with him.
There have been strong rumours since 2022 about differences between Shoaib and Sania leading to a split, and they have rarely been seen together in the last couple of years.
Just a few days back Malik also unfollowed the Indian star on Instagram.
