Zulfiqar Qureshi, 54, from Manchester has been found dead from his home in Gujjar Khan. His 5 days old dead was found hanging from ceiling fan at his native home town in Hafiz Abad village of Gujar Khan, Pakistan.
According to police, wife of the Zulfiqar Qureshi named Sanam Safdar resident of Hafizabad has informed them that her husband is not seed from last 4 days and also not answering phone calls. She told Sub Inspector Gujjar Khan Police Staiton, that she left her home four days ago after having a quarrel with her husband and since then he is not answering her phone and his house is locked from inside.
Police along with Sanam Safdar, her brothers and father reached his home, they break into door and found dead body of Zulfiqar Qureshi hanging with ceiling fan.
SHO Nadeem Zafar said police have found a hand written note of the deceased pasted on door stating that he is committing suicide being fed up with his wife and her parents.
He further said the body was looking like four days-old. Police after postmortem handed the dead body to deceased’s family members.
Zulfiqar Qureshi, belonged to Makhyala, Islampura village of Gujjar Khan and his father Haji Muhammad Ashraf is Imam of a Mosque in the village. Zulfiqar had been residing in Manchester from last 30 years. He came to Pakistan in last month and in a last week of May his dead body was found hanging at his room.
Zulfiqar was married to his relative in Manchester and had 2 daughters and a son from that marriage. Couple of years ago he married another woman, Sanam Safdar, from his native home town and because of this second marriage his first wife separated from him.
Zuliqar Qureshi and Sanam Safdar had a 8 month old son from this marriage and according to sources she also had applied for divorce in the court. Because of this Zuliqar Qureshi was in tension, and committed suicide.
