39-year-old, Wajid Fazil resident of Castle Bromwich, died after his motorcycle crashed into a barrier on Fort Parkway at around midday on Monday. He was rushed to hospital but could not survive despite the efforts of doctors, and died.

Wajid Fazil hailed from Mohra Malal, Ratta, of Dadyal District Mirpur Azad Kashmir.

Accident occurred near to the Fort Dunlop Shopping Centre. Wajid was riding motorcycle together with another motorcyclist, when both collided with a barrier.

After the crash, the Midlands Air Ambulance based at Tatenhill was called to the scene to rescue the injured man. The road was also closed for several hours after motorcycles collision, by police to carry out their investigations.

Tributes have poured in for Wajid by his family and friends on social media. His family members are also collecting donations to build a water well for war victims of Syria as Sadiqa Jariya for Wajid Fazil.

Until now £3,160.14 raised of £3,200 target by 128 supporters on “Just Giving”.

Wajid Fazil was a former British soldier who served in Kosovo. He ws described as amazing husband, a lovely dad, a honourable brother, and a role model son.

May Allah swt grant him the highest rank in jannah. Ameen!
