A 50-year-old woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Jungle area of Chakswari today on Tuesday. The body was spotted by some a local man who was gazing his goats in the area. It is suspected that woman was tortured to death and then her dead body was abounded here.

According to details, in Mera Kandi village of Union Council Kaneeli of Islamgarh a dead of woman aged about 50 years old was discovered by locals. Woman’s dead body is not identified yet.

The police reached the site soon after a resident informed them about an unknown woman’s dead body. An FIR has been lodged against unidentified killers to start an investigation into the suspected murder.

The body was shifted to the morgue for autopsy following which the Forensic Science Lab authority and other agencies will initiate their investigations.

It would take around four days for the forensic report to come out, the SHO said.

If any one can identify the woman he/she must contact their local police station and inform them about it.
