Transport Authority has disowned local transporters, and left them in the hand of private transporters.

Helpless locals have no where to go, as transport authority has left them for local transporters.

Even after petrol prices have come down 40 rupees, the cost of transport is not coming down. Unlike other cities people of Mirpur, still have to pay high prices to local transporters.

The district government office of transportation is full of complains from the locals, but they are not doing anything about it.

It seems like the local transporters and the transport authority have struck a deal in which they are splitting the money, in exchange for silence on the matter.
