British High Commissioner Philip Barton visited Mirpur Chamber of Commerce and said that there are many Trade and investment Opportunities for British Entrepreneurs in Azad Kashmir. He said UK Government will support and appreciate Entrepreneurs to invest in Azad Kashmir.

He said Director of Trade and Investment Department UK will visit Azad Kashmir soon for analysis of investment opportunities.

Acting President of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Chamber of Commerce welcomed British High Commissioner Philip Barton in Mirpur. On this eve Ex-president FPCCI Ch Muhammad Saeed, Ex-President Ch Javaid Iqbal, Doctor Muhammad Akram, Vice President Sohaib Saeed, Sec. Gen. Ch Muhammad Sahifq and members of Chamber were present.

British High Commissioner Philip Barton said it is his first visit to Mirpur and he is excited to visit Mirpur. He said that UK Government will not directly invest in Azad Kashmir but it will encourage British Entrepreneurs to invest in this area. As there are too many trade and investment opportunities in Azad Kashmir for British Entrepreneurs.

He said British Kashmiris hailing from Mirpur Division are playing an important role in Progress and development of United Kingdom economy.
