Mirpur (31August2014 Bureau Report) The torture of Journalists is the worst form of Governmental Terrorism. Government should come to its senses as the torture on Journalists will never be tolerated. These views were expressed by the Central Secretary CYJ General Arshad Mehmood Butt and District President Ch Pervaiz Shahzad in a combined statement.

They said that the Central Union of Journalists and all of the Azad Kashmir’s Journalist Community strongly condemns the violence on Journalists in Islamabad. We stand side by side with the Journalist Community of Pakistan and strongly condemn the violent act in the course of their Professional Duties. These Leaders demanded from the Current Government to strongly punish responsible for the deed and to take strong steps to minimize the occurrence of such an event again. We are in accord with whatever decision the Journalist Community of Pakistan takes and will stand by it.
