The President of Central Traders Union Asif Jawed Dar said that the traders and public reject 100% increase in bills which is leading towards public revolution and civil disobedience.

The public and political organizations of Mirpur, while leaving their differences aside, should unanimously struggle and raise their voices against 100% increase in bills. All political parties, bar associations and other united organizations, public and traders should back each other on this issue, as till a proper organized movement is not created the people of Mirpur will be robbed in silence.

He was talking to a delegation of journalists and traders. He further urged the government to take notice of the prices increase and other illegal taxes. If the Mirpur did not step up to it they will never get anything except for grief and disappointment.
