Taimur Naib, 20, resident Village Tangdew, in Chakswari Town of Mirpur, went to Rajdhani, District Kotli to swim in cold water of River Poonch on First Ramadan, but he got slipped and drowned.

According to details, 20 years old Taimur along with his two friend went to Billi Poorian area of Rajdhani, Kotli to beat the heat of summer in cold water of Poonch River.

All of them kept enjoying in water, but suddenly Taimur got slipped and could not control himself and went in a deep water area and drowned. His friends cried for help and a lot of people gathered to rescue the young lad. But he drowned under water and until now his dead body is not found.

Its been 3rd day, rescue teams are trying to find his dead body on other this sad incident has left his parents devastated and his friends in front of them he drowned are still in shocked.

In Mirpur, Jatlan, Khari, Chakswari, Dadyal, and in outskirts of Mirpur, every year in Summer especially during Ramadan, thousands of children, young boy, men, and old men visit and shower in Jatlan Head, Canal in Khari, Mangla dam and Rivers flowing near by them to pass their “Roza Time” and to beat the heat of summer.

Every year so many deaths are reported, and still authorities have not taken any decision to stop this, these places should be banned or no one should be allowed to swim without life jackets to save the young lives.
