Tabussum Winning, 34, a ‘depressed’ mother used a hammer to batter her landlord, Adim Baba, 50, to death while he was sleeping and then she hanged herself to death just days after giving birth at flat, in in Essex Close, Luton.
The body of victim Adim Baba, was found dumped in a wheelie bin with several skull fractures after Tabussum Winning, was found hanged at his flat, in Luton.
Police also found a note in Urdu: “I, Tabussum Winning, of my own will am committing suicide. I am depressed for myself and others and I’ve done every bad thing of my own will. Nobody has any problems with me.”
The coroner raised doubts about Tabbasum Winning, from Pakistan, could carry Mr Adim Baba’s 79kg body having given birth to baby boy by Caesarian. Despite my suspicion that there’s a second person involved there’s no evidence of another person.
Bedfordshire Police ‘While we believe that no other people were involved in either death, we will be reviewing our evidence in light of the coroner’s ruling and comments.’
Tabussum Winning stayed with her husband Brian Winning and the Pakistani father of her baby, Yasir Nisar, 33, after giving birth and being discharged from hospital on October 5.
Detective Inspector Fraser Wylie said she was seen moving the bin outside his two-bedroom home the day after the killing in which she dumped the body but committed suicide after the murder ‘played heavily’ on her mind.
Tabussum Winning’s life could only be described as complex – she was married to Mr Brian Winning, lived with Adim Baba but was pregnant by Yasir Nisar.
Following detailed enquiries by Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, It was concluded that Tabussum Winning had murdered Adim Baba and disposed of his body, before committing suicide.
