As the scorching summer is dawning upon Pakistan, youngsters along with their parents are heading towards Mangla Dam to beat the heat. Act 144 is just bound to files by the management as people are not complying to the safety procedures.

As the level of water in Mangla Dam has risen, it has emanated new dangers. As there are no restrictions from parents, the risk of casualties has increased. Previously, many youngsters have lost their lives because of drowning in the dam.

Especially in Ramzan many of young boys are reported to drowned in water after they spend their time to beat the heat in Mangla Dam water and Jatlan Head.
