A son brutally tortured his own father and attacked his brother on a land dispute in Mirpur city. 80 years old Haji Mehmood Hussain in jurisdiction of Thotal Police station, beaten by his son Shakoor Mughal and Grand Sons on land dispute.
80 years old Haji Mehmood Hussain is the leader of Kashmir Freedom Movement and was friend of (Late) Mujahid-e-Awal Ex Prime Minister and President Sardar Abdul Qayoom Khan. While his son Shakoot Mughal who beat his father belongs to Muslim Conference City Mirpur.
Shakoor Muhgal along with his wife and son Jameel Mughal and Abdullah Mughal attacked on his father Haji Mehmood Hussain and abused him in public on a land dispute. Neighbors around took old man Haji Mehmood Hussain to Mirpur DHQ hospital after he received serious injuries in attack.
Thothal police station filed case against Sahkoor Mughal, his wife and his two sons named, Jameel and Abduallah Mughal according to section 34, 337, 448 and arrested Shakoor Mughal.
Social and political wings related people demanded police and authorities to take strict action against the son who attacked his own father on a piece of land.
