25 years old Sobia Akhtar d/o Mirza Sajjaad Hussain resident of village Sarsawa Pallak in Islamgarh town of Mirpur committed suicide after jumping into Mangla Dam.

According to details Sobia Akhtar walk away from home in mid night while everyone at home were sleeping. In morning when family found bed of Sobia empty, they start searching for her. Her brother Faisal saw dupatta and shoes of Sobia Akhtar near Mangla Dam. He told his family who then reported to Chakswari police.

Police arrived on spot and extract dead body of Sobia from Mangla Dam. Father and Uncle of Sobia Mirza Sajjaad Hussain and Sabir Hussain received the body and denied any police trial or postmortem.

Police handed over the body to kin after recoding statements of family members. A large crowed of people gathered on bank of Mangla Lake.
