Shumas Fakeer, 22, Law Graduate, died after his Audi RS4 hit a Tree in Bingley Bradford

22 years old Shumas Fakeer son of Haji Muhammad Fakeer, resident of Frizinghall, Bradford and Kharak, PK, killed in a crash in Bingley after his blue Audi RS4 hit a tree and lamppost outside a sheltered housing complex in Bradford Road.

Due to extensive damage to the passenger side of the Audi and left debris scattered across the pavement and road. Police and paramedics were called on the accident scene and found a blue Audi RS4 which had collided with a tree.

Shumas Fakeer was pronounced dead on the scene, while the driver a 24-year-old man, was treated at hospital for minor injuries and has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

His uncle Adil Shaan said the death of his nephew, who lived in Frizinghall, had shocked people in the area.

there needs to be a serious look at traffic calming measures on this stretch of road. It is very wide and that gives drivers a false sense of security. Every night vehicles are racing up down the Bingley bypass in the early hours and something need to be done about it.
