Catherine Petty, 38, burgled her friend’s home and stole his valuable model railway collection from the attic has been jailed for 2 years.

Catherine Petty, stole, precious collection and travelled with her accomplice Shazad Manzoor, 33, resident of Mansfield Road, Manningham, Bradford to Widnes and sold items for £3,700 which actually were worth 7,000 and £10,000.

The owner who owns such valueless had collected built up over many years as a result of robbery he lost about three-quarters of the collection. The rare items were sold on quickly once they were put on the market. He has been collecting his precious model railway collection at the age of 8.

Catherine Petty, who stole these items was going through a trouble period in her life and this robbery give her a temporary home at his house in Baildon.

Shazad Manzoor, 33, resident of Mansfield Road, Manningham, Bradford was waiting outside in car while Catherine Petty resident of Beech Road, Odsal, Bradford was packing up the collection and other items including two laptops.

Catherine Petty was jailed for two years and Shazad Manzoor was jailed for 3 year for his role in robbery.
