Shahid Tarafdar, 45, resident of Longsight was struck by the silver Peugeot 307 on Stockport Road, in Longsight, on Tuesday at around 3.45pm. He was rushed to Manchester Royal Infirmary by ambulance but died later that night.

Police Officer said, My team and I will not rest until we find the driver, we will be relentless in our search and we will use every possible means available to us to identify them. It is only a matter of time until we find you. Come and speak to me before we come knocking on your door. This will not go away, the investigation will not end until this is resolved.
