Sammy Almahri, 44 a millionaire New York businessman had friendship with a British Girl, Nadine Aburas, 28 whom he met on an internet dating site called Muslim Match. They became friendly and contacted each other regularly by telephone, text and Skype and by social media.

Businessman Sammy Almahri, visited young girl Nadine Aburas two or three times in 2013 and Nadine Aburas also traveled to New York, USA to meet him in the summer of 2014.

Sammy Almahri, 44 was in love with young British girl Nadine Aburas, 28, he showering her with money and expensive Gifts. Soon their friendship developed into an intimate relationship.

Sammy Almahri travelled from the US to see Miss Aburas in UK – and booked into the Future Inns hotel near her home on December 30, 2014.

Nadine Aburas suffered violence during the last meeting with Sammy Almahri and she started to find new friends in her town.

Nadine Aburas called police and told that she is raped by Sammy Almahri in New York – and claimed he had also attempted to strangle her. Sammy Almahri also sent her abusive messages and blackmailed her to send her topless pictures to her family.

On December 31, Almahri allegedly left the hotel and travelled in her car to Heathrow and booked a flight at 10.35am to Doha. Miss Aburas’s body was found at around 12.20pm on New Year’s Eve by the duty manager – and police were called in.

Sammy Almahri was arrested by Interpol arrest warrant on January 19. Sammy Almahri claims he was suffering from “abnormality of mental function”.

Sammy Almahri claims he is not guilty of murder because his responsibility is diminished.
