Chairman Regional Transport Authority Kashmir and Commissioner Mirpur Division, Raja Pervez Amjad instructed Assistant Commissioner to conduct an impromptu checkup on public transport.
As per orders Assistant Commissioner Mirpur Raja Kaiser Aurangzeb conducted an impromptu checkup of public transport. During this checkup, all individuals not in procession for driver’s license, or breaking traffic rules or taking more passengers then safe were fined. More than 15000 rupees worth fines were charged.
In addition public transporters were advised not carry more passengers then safe and respect traffic rules. Its very comforting to know that authorities are fulfilling their duties with honesty and honor. Good job!
