Progress of region is the priority of the government: Ch Majeed

The PM Azad Jammu and Kashmir has said that the impartial progress of the region is the priority of the government. The affected people of Mangla Dam have given many sacrifices for the progress of Pakistan. All the problems of the affected people will be solved. He said this at the ceremony of laying foundation for two mega projects, i.e, the sports stadium and rest house worth more than 13 crore rupees, where he was the chief guest. At the ceremony, Minister of Development Ch Mohammad Rasheed, Director General Mangla Housing Authority Ch Zulfiqar Azam, Commissioner Mangla Dam Ch Mohammad Tayyab, Administrator District Council Ch Mushtaq, Administrator Municipal Corporation Al Haj Ghulam Rasool Awami, Administrator Chakswari Municipal Committee Ch Khalid Hussain, President Chakswari Press Club Ch Yasir Mumtaz and a huge crowd of the residents were present.

In the briefing, the PM was told that sports stadium will be built on 101 kanals and it will accommodate about 3000 spectators. The stadium will be equipped with all modern day accessories whereas more land will be made available for later extensions. The project will be completed in 3 years, on which the PM instructed it to be completed within 1 year, and funds will be readily accessible.

He told the contractor to make sure the quality of construction and to keep the project on schedule and all indoor games facilities should be made available as well. PM instructed to review the project plans and to include gym and all facilities in the sports complex. The PM said the contractor will have no choice except to maintain the quality and be on schedule.
