Police searching for driver Zahid Mirza, missing after car crashed at M6

Zahid Mirza resident of Chelmsley Wood been missing from January 15, 2017 after his car was abandoned following the smash on the southbound carriageway between junction 4A, for the M42, and junction 5, for Castle Bromwich.

Driver of the car Zahid Mirza resident of Chelmsley Wood, has not been seen by his family since the date of accident.

Now police officers and family members are concerned that he may have come to harm and searches are being carried out at the scene to help them trace him out.

Detective Superintendent Tom Chisholm, from Force CID, said: “At the time of the collision a search was made of the immediate area, but there was no trace of the driver. No contact with family members or friends had been made.

Zahid Mirza is 40 years old and is described as Asian, 5 ft 9 ins tall, with a stocky build, short dark hair and wears glasses.

Police has appealed from public, if any one has any information which can help / assist in finding Zahid Mirza since January 15, 2017, he / she is asked to call police on 101.
