Our Beloved Country was achieved in the Name of Islam, But till today Islamic System has not been established, says Chairman Scholars Council
Mirpur (30August,2014 Bureau Report) It is an achievement for Azad Kashmir to celebrate the Independence Day of Pakistan by holding Recitation and Naat Competitions. On Pakistan’s Independence Day, Syed Nazeer Ul Hassaan Gillani Secretary Religious Works and Auqaf Department Instructed the organizing of these competitions, with the collaboration of both Department of Religious Affairs and Auqaf Department. The last Naat and Recitation Competition was held on 28th August, Thursday, in Jamia Khari Shareef Mosque. These views were expressed by Mufti Nazeer Ahmed while addressing the audience gathered at Naat and Recitation Competition.
A large number of students of religious Madrassas, Colleges and Schools participated in the competition. The Cheif Guest was the Chairman Scholars Council Hafiz Tariq Mehmood. This Independence day gathering was addressed by Maulana Bashir Mustafwi, Mufti Muhammad Waseem Raza, Mufti PM Secretariat, Mufti Khadim Hussain, Supervisor Religious Works Maulana Mohammad Aslam Naqashbandi, Mufti Muhammad Awais, Mufti Zahid Mehmood, Mufti Majeed ul Ghaffar Salfi, Mufti Zafar Iqbal Farooqi, Maulana Iftikhar Ali, Shams Maqsood Abasi Director Auqaf and Sardar Iftikhar Major Khari Shareef. Chairman Scholars Council while addressing the audience said that Pakistan was established in the name of Islambut till now Islamic System has not been implemented.
The following students secured first, second and third position respectively in Recitation Competition: Abdul Moeed of Madrasa Tahafuz-e- Quran Balah Pur FIRST, Hassan Majeed of Government Post Graduate College Mirpur SECOND, Syed Musharaf Hussain Shah Jamia Qasim ul Aloom Jatlan THIRD.
In the Naat Competition the following students won: Mohammad Nabeel of Jamia Rizwia Qaam Al Aloom Jatlan FIRST, Umair Sabir Government Post Graduate College Mirpur SECOND, Umar Tariq MUST University THIRD. All Winning Students were given Cash Prizes.
