Mubashir Hussain, 45, resident of Armitage Avenue, Longsight, a kebab shop worker groomed an underage vulnerable schoolgirl. While listening her problems he developed relationship with her, buy her chocolates and other gifts, drove her to a friend’s house and had s** with her.

Mubashir Hussain spent months listening to the vulnerable child’s problems and building her confidence and make her feel comfortable. He gave her his mobile number and the pair began to chat regularly on the phone.

During those calls Mubashir Hussain described her as an attractive person, he endeared himself to her, he would flatter her and compliment her, making her feel special. He buy her chocolates and gave her money on Valentine’s Day and she believed she was in love with him. He won her trust and then used the child for his gratification.

The little girl who was thinking him as her guardian and in place of her father, she now feels numb, confused and disgusted and says the whole experience has been a long-lasting nightmare.

Mubashir Hussain was found guilty at Manchester Crown Court and was sentenced for 51 months, for grooming a child.
