Mirpur: SSP Irafan Saleem says that Mirpur is a peaceful place and there is no room for crime here. He told the press that one a robbery had occurred a few days ago in Mirpur. The robbers took lots of jewelry and money from the family at gun point and ran away.

According to information, SSP told this news in a press conference that M. Iqbal from Islam Garh got robbed on 21st Sep. The robbers took 7 lac rupees worth jewelry and heavy amount of money with them. The family tried to stop them but they injured the old lady, Rehmat Bibi and ran away. Police worked hard on the investigations and caught three members of the group, named, Waheed Hussain, Fareed Hussain and Mazhar Hussain. Police got hold on the jewelry and money they robbed. It is hoped that on further inquiry, robbers might confess about other robberies as well.
