Mian Mohammad Town Girls Inter College is waiting for a Mentor; Lack of Teachers is darkening the future of Students

Mirpur (1st September2014 Bureau Report) PM Azad Kashmir Ch Abdul Majeed’s slogans for High Standards of Education did not prove to be true, Mian Mohammad Town Girls Inter College is waiting for a Mentor , The lack of staff is darkening the future of the students. Due to animosity between the Government Azad Kashmir and Department of Education, Girls Inter College Mian Mohammad Town’s Staff consists of only 3 Professors, Physics and Biology Professors are on leave since 1 Year, the Arts Group, Islamiat, History, Urdu Professors were never appointed. For 50 students there are only 3 professors. Due to unavailability of Clerk, Assistant Runners and sweepers the educational system of the college is destroyed, the parents and students are extremely restless, and residents of the area are very angry, They are demanding that PM Azad Kashmir along with the Department of Education should appoint the professors otherwise strong protests will be held.

According to details, that the current government upgarded the college 3 years earlier and 5 professors were appointed but due to their bureaucratic links with Minister for Colleges the 2 professors are on leave since 1 year and no replacement appointments were done. Moreover, along with professors the adminstrative staff was also not provided due to which the students and teachers are very anxious. They have demanded from the PM Azad Kashmir to fullfill their demands as otherwise strong protests will be held and Pm will not be allowed to enter their area for which he would be responsible.
