Mohammad Irfan, nicknamed Pehalwan, dies of electrocution

Mirpur, Mohammad Irfan, nicknamed Pehalwan, resident of Sakasan Dera, worked as a mechanic at a workshop, adjacent to Shell petrol pump, Khari Sharif, died of electrocution. According to details, mechanic Mohammad Irfan was repairing a generator when suddenly the machine broke up and a part hit him hard on the head. Irfan succumbed to the injury and died. Police from Afzal Pur station reached immediately on spot and took his dead body in custody, which was given to the deceased relatives after completion of legal proceedings. Former Minister for Power Ch Arshad Hussain, President Trader’s Association Ch Yaseen, General secretary Dr Maroof Hussain, Raja Waqas Sarwar, Syed Shabbir Gillani, Amanat Hussain and a large number of traders arrived on spot.
