Man Kneeled Down to Offer Marriage Proposal to his Lover in Front of Kabba

Press Attaché Bahattin Akyön, who was appointed to the diplomatic mission of Saudi Arabia in 2012, and his son Yusuf Akyön, who is a correspondent in TRT, offered his marriage to his lover in front of the Kaaba.

According to the spokesman Deniz Ayhan, Akyön wanted to give his Fiancee the marriage ring as was promised, but as he took out ring from his pocket. His fiancee jokingly said, “I will not accept the ring if you do not knee down”. Akyön bent down on his knees and offered ring to for marriage proposal which she accepted and then man stand up and put ring on her finger.

Relatives of both man and woman including mothers of both were present there and recording the video had celebrated this by clapping.

Akyön shared the images and video of the moment in the social media and said, “Here we have a blessed Moment. We have blessed mothers. Of course I am a little embarrassed in their presence, but I think it is a good job.”

But he has been greeted with a mixed reception his proposal prompted backlash.
