On 20 January 2016, Zubaida Begum wife of Muhammad Rasheed Jutt resident of Dehari Bagh village of Khuiratta, District Kotli was found dead with her neck slaughtered at washroom of her house.

Zubaida Begum was living at her home alone and her other family members lives in United Kingdom, after her murder police started investigation from the people around and investigate different people.

Finally police arrested Yasir son of Muhammad Latif Gujjar resident of Dehari Bagh, who was residing in Zubaida Begum’s old house free of rent from last 10 years. Zubaida Begum also use to financially help the family of Yasir Latif Gujjar.

Yasir often use to visit the home of poor lady, on incident day he saw 5000/- Rupees and some jewelry the which old lady was wearing. Yasir visited her home to fix the water tab and killed lady in washroom by slaughtering her neck with knife. Yasir took 5 thousand rupees and took of jewelry the old lady was wearing.

At first Yasir give statement that he was went to bazar to bring a needle for the woman but when he came back he saw old lady in pool of blood.

Later in investigation, Yasir Latif Gujjar admitted killing lady for jewelry and 5 thousand rupees police also recovered the knife which he used to kill her.

After 8 months police arrested him and put him behind bars.
