Mohammad Feazan Ayaz, 20, nicknamed Fizzy, from Bradford, was found at about 4.25am last day on, when emergency services attended him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

West Yorkshire Police have launched a murder investigation and arrested a 34-year-old after the body of a man was found in Saffron Drive in Allerton.

Deceased next kin has been informed and his funeral is due to take place at the Masjid Bilal on Drummond Road. Mohammad Feazan Ayaz’s funeral is due to take place at the Masjid Bilal on Drummond Road.

Investigating Officer Detective Superintendent Mark Swift, said:

“While our enquiries are still at a relatively early stage our information now suggests there were others involved in this man’s death, as he was found with a number of injuries which suggest he may have been assaulted.

“Local officers will continue to be in the area today and anyone who has any concerns is advised to speak with them.”
