Lans Naik Naveed Akhter of Samahani Embraced Shahadat in Zarb-e-Azab

Lanc Naik Naveed Akter martyred in an action against terrorists in Teera Valley.

Samahani Puna, Lanc Naik Naveed Akhter of Sanghar embraced shahadat in an action against militants in Zarb-e-Azad Operation in Teera Valley. He was buried with full military honor.

According to details, cousin of Major Rtd. Mohammad Zaheer, DSP Rtd. Raja Mohammad Munir Khan, Lans Naik Mohammad Naveed Akhter belonged to Azad Kashmir regiment.

He embraced Shahadat in Teera Valley in an action against the terrorists under Zarb-e-Azab. His funeral prayers were held in his native village Sanghar, which was attended by his commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel Atif, SM Mohammad Asif and his regiment officers, relatives and a large number of social personalities of Samahani and general public.

He was given tribute by Azad Kashmir regiment company lead by Captain Moin. Flower wreaths were placed on behalf of Chief of Army Staff by Lft. Colonel Atif. Hafiz Nasir lead the funeral prayers and explained the status of Shaheed in the eyes of Islam and prayed that the sacrifices of Pak Army are successful in uprooting terrorism from the country. Later Lans Naik Naveed Akhter was buried with military guard of honor.
