‘Kashmir Games’ will be held for the very first time on 25th April in Pilot High School No. 1

Mirpur, For the first time in the history of Azad Kashmir ‘Kashmir Games’ will be held in Pilot High School No. 1.

The inauguration ceremony of the games will be held on 25th April,2015. The Azad Kashmir Minister for Sports, Youth and Culture,Mohammad Salim Butt would be the Chief Guest and he will inaugurate the Games. Secretary Sports, Commissioner Mirpur and all other officials will also attend the ceremony. The District Administration and other Sports Associations will also be present.

Kashmir games will begin on 20th April in District Bhimbur. Cricket, football,volley ball, athletics, badminton, table tennis and karate competitions will be held in the Mirpur Kashmir Games. Divisional Director Schools and Colleges and Sports Associations are completely cooperating in this regard.

Direstor Sports Azad Kashmir Raja Kaleem Ullah Khan who is the incharge of Mirpur division vowed to organise games in whole of the division. Ch Mohammad Imtiaz, Director General Sports, Youth and Culture, will arrive in Mirpur on 19th April to inspect the preprations made for the games. This was told by Asst. Director Sports Syed Liaquat Hussain Shah in a Press Release.
