Islamic Marriage among British Muslims, Gives Women No Protection

Triple talaq is really common among the Asian community in Britain, Islamic marriages which are invalid under British civil law, give women a little room to fight for their rights after triple talaq.

Scholars have called on Muslim women in the UK to protect themselves legally by registering their religious marriages under civil law as ‘Significant numbers’ of Muslims in Britain do not register their marriage.

Currently, couples who marry in Islamic, Hindu or Sikh ceremonies are not obligated to register their marriages under British Civil Law.

Some British Girls who marry non British Nationals, (Students or visitors from back home) take advantage of this Islamic Marriage. They marry the guy and do not register their marriage with British civil law until they pair become parents to a child. Girls use these tactics for their safer side to avoid fraud marriages for red passport.

While on other side British Boys who Marry Girls under Islamic Law and don’t register it gives them opportunity to screams talaq three times, and women have little room to leave an abusive or unhappy marriage. An Men are fearless for their assets in court if their marriage breaks down.
