WAPDA and the Azad Kashmir Department have annoyed the affected people of Mangla Dam by increasing their tariff, those people who have now twice sacrificed themselves for the bigger picture; they have now to choose between feeding their young or paying huge bill amounts. The Trading Community, Mirpur will never stand by such cruelty and rejects the increased rate. Deputy Secretary General Sajid Rahim Qureshi issued a joint statement which said tht the increased rates are in acceptable by the people who are demanding for a relief from load shedding and instead of repaying the Mangla Dam Affected for their sacrifices the concerned authorities have further traumatized them. The Trading Union Mirpur rejects the increase and urges the authorities to take the prices back. Otherwise the Public will secure and ensure their rights by force and then the trader union will support them. They said that they not only condemn the per unit price increase but also reject it.
