11-year-old Iman Javed died a hero after saving the life of her three-year-old cousin Aaima Vasim in a horror motorway smash. She was a back seat passenger in a Volkswagen Sharan being driven by her dad Javed Iqbal on the M61 in heavy fog. Their car was hit by a Renault Clio travelling in the same direction near junction nine of the motorway for Blackburn.

Iman’s mother Khaldah Javed, elder sister Saania, 15, and her young cousin Aaima Vasim, who suffers from a serious heart condition, were also inside the car.

Iman helped the three-year-old cousin get out of the family car, before it was hit by a HGV on the M61, she suffered serious injuries was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her father Javed Iqbal was seriously injured and was in a critical condition fighting for his life in hospital. Her mother, teenage sister Saania and Aaima were also hurt on January 23, but are now recovering.

Iman was pupil at Norden Community Primary School in Rochdale. She had special bound with her 3 years old cousin Aaima Vasim, and would have played with her patiently for hours with her.

May Allah rest her soul in peace and give family members Sabar to bear the loos of such innocent life, who had a whole life a head.
