Hassan’s family confirmed he had been a fairly private person in his life and had been treated for depression in the past. There were arguments and domestic issues at home mainly as Hassan was not doing any job.
Before committing suicide Hassan had conversation with his close friend named Jameel and he left him a voicemail in which he was crying and leaving long gaps between speaking.
Hassan Mehmood had tried to harm himself in past and had thrown himself into a river near Cineworld in Waters in Bolton. He also took overdose of pills for which he was treated in hospital.
Hassan was awarded a new job for a PPI firm on the day he committed suicide.
Area coroner Alan Walsh said: “He must have felt so desolate in relation to domestic problems and the loss of a friendship with a close friend, which he valued.
“It’s a great tragedy that a young man ends his life in that particular way.”
