Minister Environment Sharja Akber Chaudhry made his gracious presence at Government Girls High School function. His presence added propriety to the occasion. However his arrival raised many eyebrows.

Minister of Environment riding his official car number plate 026 arrived at Khokhra with all due protocol. The driver broke all rules at the one way road jamming traffic at Khokhra Bazaar. The traffic warden on duty instead of giving him a ticket, helped the driver maneuver the car through the traffic to its destination safely. Why is it that government officials, whose primary responsibility is to oversee the implementation of rules, are exempt from them?
People wasted hours on the streets before roads were cleared and traffic went about as per routine. Such protocol movements do not reflect well on the involved person and this “fashion” should stop.
