Mother-of-four, Ferzana Khan, whose family helped raise over £50,000 in under a day in order for her to receive the pioneering immunotherapy treatment in Germany, has sadly passed away this morning.

About more than £50,000 was raised with GoFundMe for her treatment with in just a week after her husband made an appeal.
Estimated cost of the treatment based on other patients who have had successful treatment in Germany is approximately £100k on average.
She was due to fly out to Germany yesterday with her husband but was stopped after doctors placed a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLs).
Here is the message form her husband.
We are in a very a difficult situation, a team of oncologists in Germany are ready and waiting for my wife, they believe they can help her…
But Dr’s at the UK hospital have placed a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLs) and my wife isn’t allowed to leave.
Dr’s have also stopped all fluids, and she is becoming very dehydrated.
It is mine and my wife’s wish to take this chance with the German doctors. Everything is ready and booked but we are not allowed to leave.
But later her husband Update the status,
By the will of God, my wife has passed away.
