Feroze Khan, 26, (23.06.1992) of Denmark Hill, SE5, dealt crack-cocaine and heroin across London by using dedicated mobile phone lines between 12 June 2018 and 17 May 2019.

The investigation into Khan is part of an initiative to combat drugs lines, where those controlling the supply do not always come into direct contact with those selling-on the drugs.

However through careful investigation, officers were able to prove Khan was involved in dealing, through the supply of drugs to others.

The investigation began on 11 June 2018 at around 15:40hrs when officers attempted to stop Khan as he was sat in the driver seat of a blue Mercedes in Denmark Hill, SE5.

However Khan manoeuvred around the officers and made off a speed.

It was suspected that Khan was involved in the supply of drugs and search warrants were conducted at various addresses controlled or used by Khan.

During the course of one of the searches at a flat in East Dulwich, a specialist search dog gave an indication that something was in a bedroom wardrobe.

A green fleece hanging in the wardrobe was searched and a quantity of suspected Class A drugs discovered.

Later analysis revealed that the drugs were 509 wraps of crack cocaine and 84 wraps of heroin. The drugs had a combined value of over £5000.

Police were later able to link these drugs to Khan. A warrant was executed at Khan’s home address and Khan was arrested by officers from the Violent Crime Taskforce in May 2019.

While in police custody, Khan was charged and he pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of a class A drug between 1 June 2019 and 17 May 2019 at Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court on 18 May 2019.

He was sentenced on 10 June 2019 at Inner London Crown Court.

Khan is also subject of a 10 year criminal behaviour order when released from prison.
