the glamour girl is back, this time claiming that she thought her marriage with Amir Khan would be a “fairytale”. Faryal spoke with the Daily Mail to tell all about her relationship with her in-laws and how she goes against what they expect from her as a daughter-in-law.

She told the newspaper: “In my head, living with my new husband was going to be this fairytale, but it was hard and I didn’t have any friends.

Ahead of the couple’s glamorous 1000-guest ceremony at New York’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel, she was asked to sign a prenup agreement – which she said she did out of her love for Amir, but was hurt by.

This was later cancelled by her husband when she was pregnant.

She said “I want to see more British Pakistani Muslim women speaking up for themselves, getting out there and doing something. Then, eventually, the stereotype – this idea of what a daughter-in-law should be – will die off.”

The couple currently resides in a rented apartment in San Francisco, where Amir Khan is training for a comeback fight later this year.
