Fahad Goheer, 22, resident of of Fenton Street, Rochdale, charged with rape of 12 years old girl at hotel in Bradford. Fahad is alleged to have contacted the Bradford girl over a period of 2 months through social media.

Fahad Goheer was arrested in Rochdale on January 25 and brought to a police station in Bradford for questioning and was charged with the offence on January 26.

The allegation is that Fahad Goheer, of Fenton Street, Rochdale, had been in contact with the girl for about 2 months with on a social media app called “Periscope” and he also came to Bradford with the intention of raping her on the evening of January 21. He booked a room at the Ibis budget hotel with his own credit card and in his own name.

Fahad Goheer forced the girl to give her false date of birth on the reception.

He did not enter any plea in relation to the charge, bail application for Fahad was rejected and he was remand in police custody until his next hearing on on February 24 at Bradford Crown Court court.
