Drug Dealer Gang Jailed for 27 years after 5KG Heroin Recovered from Taxi in Bradford

A Drug Dealers Gang which was operating between Birmingham and Bradford had been sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court after 5 KG of Heroin which had street value of £0.5 Million was recovered from taxi in Bradford.

All four stood trial at Birmingham Crown Court and after a three week hearing they were all found guilty of conspiracy to supply heroin.

3 Members of the Gang have been jailed for 27 years after police uncovered Class A Drugs from a taxi which was stopped in the West Yorkshire city in February 2016 and 5 kilos of heroin was found in a rucksack. While one still under trial and will be sentenced later.

Imaan Haidri, aged 25, from Bromfield Close, Aston Jailed for 10 years. Mohammed Jangir, aged 33 from Oakfield Road, Erdington, the ring leader of Gang is jailed for 8 years and 6 months. Vijay Kumar, aged 42 from Farleigh Avenue, Leicester 9 years.

While 4th member of gang, Ahtsham Hussain, from Raglan Road, Balsall Heath will be sentenced later. During search at home of Imaan Haidri police uncovered £29,000 in cash hidden in a flour bin.

The gang was supplying large quantities of drugs to other drug dealers for distribution in the city.
