We Strictly Condemn the Attacks on Parliament and other Institutes and on Journalists and Citizens, says District Bar

Mirpur (1stseptember2014 Bureau Report) We strongly condemn the attacks on Parliament in Islamabad and other Institutes and resultant Shelling and violence conducted on Citizens and Journalists by Police and for the people dead and injured in these clashes. These views were expressed by Khalid Rasheed Chaudhary Advocate President District Bar Association Mirpur while addressing the Bar Representatives and Senior Lawyers.

The Senior Vice President Mohammad Ameen Baig Advocate, Vice President Mohammad Haleem Khan Advocate, General Secretary Mohammad Shabbir Shareef dvocate, Additional General Secretary Irfan Sabir Advocate, Ghulam Mujtaba Advocate Joint Secretary, Mohammad Aqeel Ahmed Afdvocate Finance Secretary, Miss Shumaila Barkat Advocate Secretary Librarian, and other senior and young Lawyers participated.

The Participants of the Meeting said that the Lawyers of Pakistan have always worked for the upholding of law and for peace and prosperity in the country. District Bar Mirpur, Pkistan Bar Council and Pakistan Supreme Court Bar Association are in solidarity with the call for bycott. Lawyers will not take sides and will always be with those who abide the law and democratic trends. Democracy is also responsible for the solidarity of Pakistan in which every citizen receives justice and the law holders make decisions according to the law and make sure of the progress and development of Pakistan.
