Special Magistrate Price control that new petrol and diesel prices are being implemented across Azad Kashmir.

Special Magistrate Price Control District Mirpur Sarfaraz Khan on the advice of Deputy Commissioner Mirpur conducted an impromptu checkup on petrol pumps located in Chitterpari, Chechiyan, Jatlan and New City. The purpose of this raid was to ensure that these petrol pumps are charging rates according to those set by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority.

On meeting the owners and managers at petrol pumps, he advised them to charge: Rs 80.79 per liter Diesel, Rs 76.25 per liter petrol. According to OGRA Diesel prices reduced by Rs 5.17 per liter. So Deputy Commissioner Mirpur recommended Magistrate Price Control Mirpur to conduct a survey to ensure that the pumps are working in accordance to the new pricing.
