Khalid Mehmood in Shad Bagh area of Lahore had beaten his daughter Aneeqa Khalid to death for not making a “Gol Roti” chapatti properly.

Younger Son of Khalid Mehmood named Abuzar helped his father for hiding the crime and dumping the dead body of his own sister outside Mayo Hospital and then they went to police station and filed a case of Kidnapping of 12 years old Aneeqa Khalid.

Neighbors of Kalid Mehmood told the police that he was in habit of beating his wife and children. Due to his behavior his wife left home about 4 months ago, before this incident.

After police started investigation from family members the truth was revealed, Khalid Mehmood who could not control his anger start beating his 12 years old daughter. 12 years old Aneeqa died on spot.

A district and sessions court in Lahore on Monday awarded a death sentence to a Khalid Mehmood after he was found guilty of murdering his daughter for not making “Gol Roti”, and a fine of 500,000/ PKR is imposed to him.

Judge Asghar Khan, such an individual cannot be pardoned who murdered his daughter in cold-blood over a minor dispute.
