Former English Defence League leader has had two milkshakes thrown at him on the campaign trail in Warrington and in Bury.
The former English Defence League founder was hit with the McDonald’s drink during a walkabout in Warrington, Cheshire, on Thursday.
Footage posted to social media showed Robinson arguing with an Asian man who then hit the milkshake against his head.
A man named Danny, Danyal Mahmud, 23, who claimed to have been responsible for throwing the milkshake.
Tommy Robinson was confronting him after a few seconds Danyal lobs a strawberry shake over Robinson’s face from close range.
Robinson and his cronies then jump on top of the aggressor and punch him in the head before they were separated.
Danyal claims the drink dropped out of his hand accidentally. He told “I just got annoyed with him. A milkshake ‘slipped’ out of my hand. I had no intention of doing anything or reacting in any way.”
In another video, Robinson, 36, was hit with a milkshake in Bury, Greater Manchester, on Wednesday.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “We are aware of an allegation of assault made following an incident in Bridge Street in Warrington this afternoon. We are looking into the circumstances.”
