Islam Garh: A woman married another man without divorcing the first husband and ran away. Police filed a case against the couple and arrested them from Islam Garh along with their infant child.
According to details, Robina Kausar d/o M. Sidique caste Khurl from Chak District Burewala was married to Sana Ullah s/o M. Khan caste Khurl from Pindi Bhatian, on 25th Oct, 2002 but Robina was not sent off with her husband yet. On 31st Sep, 2014, Robina ran away with a man named Muzammil Shahzad and married him while she was still married to Sana Ullah. On 18TH Oct, 2014, police filed a case against the couple in the light of Act 365-B.
Police looked for the couple but did not find them. Muzammil’s brothers found out that they were hiding in Islam Garh. Robina’s brother Nasir Ali reported against them in Islam Garh Police station. Police investigated against them and found them in Islam Garh living on rent in Shabir Shareef’s house. They got arrested along with their infant child and are now behind the bars.
