Boxer Amir Khan’s father Shah Khan has branded Faryal Makhdoom as ‘controlling wife’ and has also accused her of trying to break the family apart.

Mr Khan claims Faryal has turned their former light-welterweight world champion boxer son against his parents. He further added, Faryal and her mother are behind this show, “They want to control everything about Amir. They’re running the show.

Mr Khan said, all this happened when his Amir and Faryal went to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah in November last year and Boxer Amir Khan sent his younger sister Mariyah some messages which were not nice.

Mr Khan told he had decided to inquire Amir Khan about the messages on his return, but since his return he has not met his son in person.

Shah Khan blamed ‘Amir’s wife and mother-in-law have teamed up, 100 per cent. They’re in his head, both of them. They want to control everything about Amir. They’re running the show. They want to run everything in his life. We said fine, carry on with it. We’ve taken a step back.

It all comes after the news break of Amir khan selling his £1.2million Bolton home and was house hunting in Berkshire with Faryal and their two children to get away from his family and ‘save his marriage.’
