John Georgelas, an American converted to Islam, and change his name to Arabic name Yahya Abu Hassan, is now believed to be the most senior westerner in Isis.

John Georgelas now Yahya Abu Hassan is son of a former US Air Force doctor and the grandson of an American Second World War. While his father was serving in UK, John Georgelas spend some time in UK too along with him near Cambridge.
