British Woman who cannot be named, died while traveling to to Birmingham from Islamabad on Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Thursday 09 February, 2017. The PIA flight was diverted in emergency to Berlin, Germany after the woman fell ill on the Boeing 777-340 plane.

According to details, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Birmingham-bound flight was diverted to Berlin after the condition of a female passenger suddenly deteriorated.

Berlin Schoenefeld Airport, was alerted by Pakistan International Airlines Flight, for medical emergency and medical crash team was waiting for flight to land on airport. Medical team, attempted to revive woman with CPR as soon as the plane landed and she was transferred to a nearby hospital. But she was pronounced dead by hospital staff.

The causes of her death are unknown until now, a post mortem examination will be carried out to establish the cause of death.

There were about 90 passengers on board, when it landed in Germany and after 3 hours they flight completed its journey from Germany to Birmingham, England.
