British Citizen, Muhammad Zaroof of Dadyal Arrested for Smuggling Heroin at Karachi Airport

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Sindh along with the Airport Security Force (ASF) has busted a drug smuggler from new Jinnah international Airport and seized 18.785 kg heroin.

According to details, a British-Pakistani citizen was trying to smuggle heroin but was arrested a passenger at Jinnah International Airport after recovery of drugs from his trolley bag.

Accused a British Citizen, Muhammad Zaroof son of Muhammad Yousaf resident of Daggar Village of Dadyal, was travelling to Birmingham and he was arrested after recovery of 18.785 kg heroin from his possession, according to a press release on Wednesday.

The approximate value of the recovered drugs in the international market is Rs. 7 million. A case has been registered and further investigation has also been started.

In last weeks, a British Pakistani woman Kausar Younis, 52, hailing from Mirpur, was arrested for carrying heroin worth Rs130 million at Islamabad International Airport.

She was found carrying 13 kilograms of heroin worth Rs130 million, hidden in three bags which led to suspicion resulting in a thorough inspection of her luggage.

The woman said, in a confessional video, that she intended to go to Vienna via Doha, Qatar. She was carrying three bags in which the narcotics were concealed.
