Boxer Amir Khan is moving out of hometown Bolton to save his relationship with wife Faryal Makhdoom, following a string of affairs, according to reports.

He is reported to has been house-hunting in Ascot, Berkshire with wife Faryal Makhdoom. He put his £1.2million home up for sale and moved into a renovated bungalow last year, which is next door to his parents.

Faryal and Amir’s family had a very public falling out in the past, although they later solved their differences, but it now seems Amir is ready to fly the nest.

It is understood he is house-hunting in Ascot, Berkshire, and has told pals he feels he needs the fresh start.

A friend said: “Amir knows he has to grow up and the quality time he spent in New York for the Crawford fight with Faryal, without his family who have been with him on every step of his boxing career.

“He wants to make his marriage work and knows in order to do that he needs to get out of Bolton where his family are so close.

“His family have been there for his whole career but he’s 32-years-old now and thinks its time to leave the nest.”
